sell child-themes?

How is that about child-themes?

Let´s say i have parent theme for sale here, and i wish to also sell child-themes for that one?

A logical idea i thought was (just an example): parent theme $ 30 and each child $ 10 or something like that…

is that the idea or it´s better to upload theme as a new one?

note: yes i know it´s a good one to include some child themes with your upload, but i mean more child-themes you can dev in future.

I think this is a good idea but I could see it causing problems, like someone buying a child theme with out purchasing the core theme and thinking it would work

and what about a big button on preview saying “CHILD THEME ” -> PURCHASE THIS TO USE ….

and by the way, the price itself could be the “notice” that is a child one, since may be some child themes could colst only 5 or 10 $, less than any other theme.

Selling child themes might be tricky with the current way ThemeForest works. I’d suggest bundling the parent theme with the child theme. Add a note to the reviewer and they might give you a higher selling price if you can make the case it adds more value.
