Hello everyone!

I am new to the community and to the wordpress world.

Me and a friend are both programmer/designer and are interested in building a Wordpress Premium Theme to sell here on EvantoMarket (ThemeForest).

We had some question before starting to build the theme, maybe you guys could hlep us? :)

So we were checking the plugins the other day and we saw that there is a Standard License and an Extended one.

We would like to know if we are able to buy ex. a slider plugin with the extended license, Setup the slider correctly in our theme, and when everything is done, sell our theme with the plugin comming with our theme.

Are we able to do this? or we need to create everything ourselves?

Thanks for any answer :)!

Only assuming you have permission from he original author of the plugin.

As such a high % of themes on here use Royal, Layer and Revolution slider these three have altered their inclusion rules for themes e.g.

e.g. http://support.kreaturamedia.com/faq/4/layerslider-for-wordpress/#group-3&entry-18

Ok alright! Thanks for your answer :)

And to know which plugin have altered their inclusion rules for theme, we need to check them one by one or is there a website that list them all ?

On the whole you will always need permission form the authors and potentially extended licenses etc.

The best and safest way to do this is to ask the author individually per plugin (only the really big ones like Revolution and Layer slider have made these changes to simplify it that I am aware of).

Ok I understand!

So if im correct, the best way to build a premium theme, is to have less plugin possible to avoid any problem ?
