Hi folks,
Is it allowed to sell child themes of your own items? And if so, can you sell them separately of the parent theme, or do you need to include it and sell it as a bundle?
The reason I ask is because we’re finishing up on a new theme, and we have a few spin-offs in mind for the near-future.
Any thoughts on this?
Cheers!
There are already child themes for famous WordPress frameworks like the “Genesis Framework”. But I think it’s not allowed to upload these themes if another theme is required.

Sell it as a Bundle… and promote it as a Bonus file for your theme. Buyers will surely like it!
I think if it’s a childtheme, then there needs to be somewhere to buy the framework.
The Genesis Framework child themes are being sold seperately.
So if your frameworks if successful enough, you might get accepted.
There may be a special arrangement with Brian Gardner regarding this setup.
Check with TF.
