Ok, I gave them a heads up for this thread through twitter.
Sorry to know this very bad news. It’s a very serious case and I know Envato will take actions as soon as possible.
By the way, real_texelart, we are from all around the world here, so just tell us what language do you speak and there must be someone who can help you to interpret correctly what you want to speak. Don’t be afraid. We are all here to help each other.
Best of luck,
aRtlessX and greedybrown, thanks a lot. I’m from Spain and my English is a bit poor. With the google translator i try to understand all i can.
No se preocupe, usted está haciendo bien!
(google translator is a friend to all of us LOL )
XD, gracias. Pido perdon a los que este perjudicando por monopolizar el foro.
hehe, thanks. By the way, you have nothing to apologise for. This is your thread, noone is reading by force if they don’t want to Let us know when support answers back to you.
I’m glad that you found out this person stealing your images before much damage done. BTW you can always report copyright infringement through the specific item page as well.
Hope you get it all sorted out ASAP .
Nice, the only positive I can see is he must have bought all you work at high res which will have cost him more that he had made selling them on his market place.
There are other ways to obtain a file and SS has been suffering due to it since ages, if you know what I mean.
Good luck man!
You should ask for a compensation from Envato because it’s not only user’s fauld, it’s Envato’s too.
Geesh, some people! Did they really think they were going to get away with it without anyone noticing? Hope the issue gets sorted soon!
Stylius saidErrr…no it’s not. What do you suggest, that every single time a user comes and registers Envato should throw a background check and a search through the whole internet to see if s/he’s uploading legit stuff one by one item? Let’s get real for a minute, shall we? The one thing that I find is fair to happen is for the revenue the fake user made with these items so far to go to the real creator, but nothing more than that.
because it’s not only user’s fauld, it’s Envato’s too.
