Same here. My sales have dropped a LOT this week.

May seem obvious but absolutely helps..:
Make the best you can, try to do something unique ; the good one promotes itself too.

I actually don’t promote my work but they are selling very well as if I do. Just like – Bedros said, “Make the best you can, try to do something unique ; the good one promotes itself too.”

Try to build your portfolio with a very specific type of items. Don’t create because others do – work on those items you love doing and you are very good in creating. That is all you need my friend. You will be surprised how awesome your works will be selling.

Promotion – is very good and also pays well IF AND ONLY IF you are known for a particular type of items. Don’t be too versatile. Build your portfolio with those files you love doing and make sure you have a style that will distinguish you from others. Bear in mind, that successful authors here are those that are known for a particular type of item.

Finally, hope and pray that your item will be featured. That will rocket your sales for one whole month because there are 4 slots for featured items. That my friend, helped me alot.
