selling stuff on ebay and amazon Help!

OK I want to sell some items on Ebay and Amazon. (I am an ebay newbie)

What is the best way to build up an online presence. Marketing, etc and everything else, so people can find me. Ad campaigns and everything else!

What payment methods shall I accept and should I use paypal or what?

Any help is most appreciated!

ideally you should offer multiple ways to accept payments, paypal is a good start because well its used almost everywhere, theres a few others like money bookers etc… depending on the country you live in there maybe some credit card processors that will allow you to process them both manually(with a swipe machine) and online

I also wanted some advice on selling, for example if you have sold on Ebay, what are the best practices, what pitfalls or GOTCHAs should I be aware of.

What’s best for delivery? Post office or courier services?

How do I get feedback as a first time seller. How do I promote my items to get more exposure.

Also would be interested in people who have sold on Amazon as well… Any advice or tips.

I don’t sell on ebay (tried once no result) and I don’t sell on amazon (maybe when I will finish my book I will use kindle store) so I can’t tell you nothing that could help
