Serious Issue!

Oh, don’t complain! If we’re talking about this same author then he’s making WordPress release of my theme from March 2012.

I know this author…same problem here “your work looks great i want to code it bla bla bla… and nothing for couple of month’s”

Maybe one way of preventing this is to always ask for the “Work in Progress” files after every 2-3 weeks, so if no progress is being made, you’ll know right away.

As i sad we always have live dev link set up. So you ask him for the same and you can track the progress hourly, or if not at least once a day it should be updated.

I would told him to GTFO and found another reliable and mature dev. I would give any developer 2 month max (in case of some private issues, sickness etc). If someone have prepared framework it shouldn’t take more than a month.

I had the same problem with one of the authors.
Although he dragged it for 3 months… and nothing.
Not to mention that loads of people putted their projects on hold and waited for the wp version. >.>

The second dev showed me the progress of the HTML&CSS version but he never showed me the wordpress version!
