Just a note – aside from all of the pricing rules about features and stuff, you can usually make a polite price request to the reviewer for “suggested pricing” during the initial submission or as a note during any theme update. The reviewers might have perfectly good justification for their price decision, but it doesn’t hurt to make a nice request!
Smartik saidyou’re confusing between theme options and theme features.
rongcon saidA theme that has 300 Theme Options, 500 shortcodes, 20 sliders doesn’t make it better than one that have 30 theme options, 10 shortcodes and 1 slider.
this theme have nice design but it have less than most popular functions here so $40 is a good price for this theme.
Why you think $50 for this theme? there are some theme have 2x feature than you and still have $45.The $50-55 is for mostly Ecommerce Theme , WooCommerce Integration
WooCommerce is just a feature but your theme will be rate from 40-45 ->50-55 for sure. why you don’t check in wordpress category?
Thank you all for your inputs.
@brandon: I actually did
Searching the knowledge base would have saved time as well, also it would be amazing if authors would realize that the reviewer is actually a human being as well! In my humble opinion, insulting the reviewers is the worst course of action to take on the marketplaces!
Hi Enabled, I think I was very polite and I don’t think I insulted any reviewers.
I am just asking for honest opinions about the price of my item.
I can’t really say the value of your item, but my last item was priced 40$ about 2 weeks ago, I was pretty sure it was worth 45$ like some other themes recently approved in the same category, not considering that my first item was priced 45$ and it had half the features this one has. I just opened a support ticket explaining this and in one day I had the price change..no need to b*tch around or mail collis
Good Luck mate
