Hi there.

I’d really like some help with something.

I’d like to set up my own support site for my upcoming project on the various Envato sites.

How can I ensure that only purchased users can access my support area?

Is it possible to set-up a way that they must enter their license code to post and view?

If so, how do I get all the license codes, and how does the site now which are correct.

New to this type of stuff.

Thanks a lot,

Sam!

There’s a WordPress plugin called AuthorHQ that does all this for you, it might be what you’re looking for.

IMHO avoid Author HQ – its just not very good and as a support solution it is a bit lacking to be polite

THIS wonderful tutorial – http://wp.tutsplus.com/tutorials/plugins/using-bbpress-as-a-support-forum/ and this http://codecanyon.net/item/envato-purchase-code-verifier-for-bbpress/3758462 are both excellent, customisable, and a tried and tested method

I use it, having tried author hq for a few months, given up on it, and switched to this – i cant recommend the above enough

:)

+1. You’ll regret like me, if you’ll buy AuthorHQ. Is not the best solution, at all.

github is generally a bleeding edge version, I dont recommend using it for a production site, the 1 on wordpress.org is always stable ;-)

p.s I purchased Author H.Q as well hated it, wrote Verifi

Thanks for spotting, AuthorHQ is nice, but lacks some features.. I didn’t tried yours soon I will try.

I spot a spelling mistake “durning” instead of “during” (I think) in WordPress plugin page. Meanwhile what is meant by “CloudWork”?
