No,no, I’m saying (in short) replace[gallery] with a button, make it easier.

Apparently, from what I researched, people want short-codes. It’s a required feature if you want to be popular. Making a better alternative (not by me, just saying, a possible update to short-codes) is going to take a lot of time. Meanwhile, as authors we have to provide support and maybe even functionality for them :(. At least, since we don’t control the rules of this, we can provide the best versions with the best experience we possibly can, and move along, and update, very very slowly :)
