Hello friends ,
After all of this conversation about the non-sideEffectness (yes, a new word) of electronical devices , I decided to build a bed for myself from ComputerParts , and my pillow will be the panel of a CRT.

That must not work well with the ladies.

I’m afraid my PC will format the cells on my HBD (Hard Brain Drive) while I sleep. Better I put the PC into a plumb cage over night.

Here’s my humble music workstation:

Don’t panic! I called for a fire engine! They’ll put out that burning monitor in no time! ;)

Nice rig, Juha-Matti!

Haha. Maybe I should turn the monitor off once in a while! :D

Thanks, btw! :)

super unhealthy having it that close to your bed… don’t live like that, you’ll burn out..
At the moment this is the only workplace I can afford :( Why unhealty? Magnetic fields or something similar?
I believe the comment was referring to the fact that it’s bad practice having your ‘work space’ in the same space as your ‘sleep place’ – eventually your time is lost and you do nothing but work and do not have a clear definition in your life as to what is work and what is not. Hence it’s unhealthy to have work in the same room as rest / play etc.

exactly that. I did it for a while and it does affect your health as you (I) couldn’t switch off, there’s no space to relax when your workstation is in your bedroom. I understand its where alot of us start but try and aim to not work in your room for too long :)

This is my view right now in Nicaragua!

Office with a view

(Obviously, I usually have something on my screen! :))
That’s jaw dropping.

Although, I can imagine that the forest can be quite lively (aka loud). As a composer I guess it could distract. Still a beautiful view.
