This is a generic set of instruction on how to obtain a product purchase code for an item you bought.

This set was specifically made generic so that any Envato Author may use these images as they see fit. No link-back, No credit, No Love required; however, please do not hotlink these images!! Save & Upload them to your own server!!!

The 1200px and 800px are too large to nicely display here, but this is the 400px one:

\\

To download the images, right click the link(s) below and select Save or Save As. Save them to your local PC then upload them to your server. Images have been ran through SmushIt.

400×300 | 800×600 | 1200×900

The Envato API allows authors to verify purchases using the buyers purchase code. These instructions show you how to obtain that purchase code.

So, if you bought one of my scripts and needed help with it, I may ask for the purchase code so that I can be sure that you actually bought my item.

If you are not asked for a purchase code then you probably wont need to know what it is. The only person who should request this code is the author of the product that you bought.

OR…you just click on the link in the email to see if the person bought your product.

That would be great if the buyer used the contact from on our profile page. But for those of us who have external support forums/scripts/sites, asking for the purchase code is the only way we can verify the purchase. Not all buyers know how/where to find the code – so this should help them find it.

Top job!

All my new items use licence code validation, so does my support website. This will assist greatly in my instructions for how users can find their code.

Added to my support website already just above the licence code: http://support.dtbaker.com.au/support-ticket.html

Hi, I still cannot find the purchase code!! When I go to ‘Downloads’ the only option even close to the License Certificate link you mention is called ‘Regular License’ however this just takes you to a page with License information, not a specific purchase code for the item. Can you assist please? Thanks, Steve
