I’ve just tried using this plugin, but i can’t seem to make it work.. I’ve pushed an update on ThemeForest, have one of my items bought, but the check() function doesn’t work.. And i don’t know when does the filter that you hook in the class constructor run.

Is there a way to manually check for updates? Because since the check function has a parameter, i cannot call with because i have no idea what to pass in there.

So .. should this work only by adding the proper code inside functions.php? The class initializes, but it ends there. No updates check..

Could you please give some advice?

Thanks, Ruben :)

That’s odd, i don’t see why it shouldn’t. Thanks for the feedback, we’ll take a look.

I also included this script in my last theme. Thanks a lost pixelentity.

The problem is I don’t really have a buyer api key to test it out and support can’t give you one. :(

@PixelBook .. there is a line which you if uncomment, it’ll work as a test. Check the class file and you’ll see the line which needs to be uncommented for debugging.

He would still need buyer api key to test, that debug line only make sure the update code gets called on each page reload. Only way is to ask a buyer for it or purchase own item from another account.

@duotive fixed link is in post 4
