Hmm… does anyone else find that downloading off Envato is always below 300KB/s? My connection can handle about 3MB/s. It’s really annoying when downloading 500MB+ files!

Just downloaded a 5MB theme in 6 seconds from bigpond cable. Does restarting download help?

Had to restart the 500MB file as it got to 80% and corrupted
It won’t go above 160KB/s, which is crazy for those large files. I’ll try again later on a friend’s 100 megabit/s fibre and see if that helps.

Jeez – 5th time lucky maybe? I can’t even resume a download evidently: “don’t have permission” error. Please Envato, find some really quick hosting.

I downloaded something a few weeks ago from a site that was using Amazon S3 for file serving and had a similar experience.
Whereas I usually have a good connection and fast downloads, on this day Amazon seemed to take hours to download an average sized file.
I would say the problem is more so with your connection or Amazon, not specifically Envato.
I gave it a few hours then re-downloaded and it worked fine
