First of all, I must say that your theme is really great! Nice hard work!

Yes, indeed, this design needs to be unique enough to stand out in the marketplace, as I have seen alot of similar concept theme in tf marketplace.

Of course! you can do it, and I believe it would be a great theme.

few things that I think, it may make your theme ” unique ”.

1 – Add a very thin cute frame for gallery images.

2 – Zoom effect whenever one drag the mouse over the images. ( Make it an option from wp panel, whether one wants it or do not want it )

3 – Multiple color choice

4 – Background and its pattern choice

5 – Multiple Font options ( Google fonts )

6 – Easy to change the h1- h6 height from wp admin panel.

I understand that you are inspired by Orman for this design, but make it totally unique concept! I believe if you focus on my 2nd point, then it would be great! Because I have not seen this so far on TF like this.

If you want me to share the example of what kind of zoom effect I am talking about, then I can share the link where I have this effect.

At this point the theme is only html, so 3-6 will remain for later. But i will take your first suggestions and add some cool effect over thumbnails roll overs and see what i can do about images.

I also started to design a home page with a better slider..

I have to say i really like the simplicity of your design… to me it looks perfect…

Personally i would not change anything except maybe add a different effect for the picture hover… but even that is a matter of taste.

Adding the options for changing colors and fonts that GopalDasa suggested would probably increase the change to get this approved.

It reminds me a lot of the minimalistic designs of the famous cargo collective and thats the reason why I really love this theme. I would also add some more features and maybe a cool hover effect for the portfolio site f.e. http://webdesignandsuch.com/jquery-sliding-boxes-and-captions/ or something like http://buildinternet.com/2009/03/sliding-boxes-and-captions-with-jquery/

Good luck with it. I would definitly buy it, if it will be accepted by the staff.
