I just got my latest item soft disabled for having a non-unique name. Don’t expect a mail first because you won’t get, so this is a warning for authors who will post their items or ALREADY HAVE non-unique names to be careful.

I’m posting here because from what i’ve searched over the Envato Knowledge i didn’t find nothing about this.

Well, when you have a best-selling item and it’s soft disabled you will know and understand (i really don’t want to sound arrogant so please don’t take it like that). For the moment, it’s been 13 hours since then and i’m guessing it could’ve got some sales, however i didn’t complained about my item in particular (logically i know if i rename it, it will be fine), i’m just warning others to be careful because this new ‘rule’ is not mentioned in the Envato Knowledge and action is taken without warning.

Exactly! I though that too. Anyway i don’t want to point out anyone in particular, just to warn that they might find themselves in the same situation.

I keep noticing that many staff actions are taken plain robotic. I understand there’s a lot of work for them too, but cmon.. we are not a bunch of dudes here, for most of us this is a full-time job and these kind of stuff is really affecting it and should be taken more ‘humanly’.
