Hello Every one, This the first HTML template that i submit and i get this Soft Rejected:

The main preview should be a 590×300px jpg. JPGs should be named in a numeric order which will dictate the order in which they’re shown (i.e., 01_preview.jpg, 02_home.jpg, 03_about.jpg…). Please do not include any other files in your Preview Set, and please do not include your preview JPGs in the main submission.

Also you can see my template here : http://the1.sprintheme.com/

This what i have done to fix for the file name you can see the names:

01_preview.jpg 02_theone.jpg 03_theone.jpg 04_theone.jpg 05_theone.jpg 06_theone.jpg 07_theone.jpg 08_theone.jpg

  • I believe that now this OK the problem was that the main file wasn’t same name like that: ” 01_preview.jpg “

Questions: I add all this files ( 01_preview.jpg, 02_theone.jpg etc ) at the zip and upload to “Theme Preview” i want to be sure that this ok ?

Also i want to upload the HTML description see example: http://awesomescreenshot.com/06526lqmd4 From what i read and my understanding i need to make HTML with all the information of the description inside and make it organize like H2-H6 headers, uls, ols, strong, em etc.

So if i make this kind of html what need to be name of the html ? For example:

index.html ? description.html ? 09_theone.html ?

Also do i need yo add this HTML inside the zip folder with all the preview files and upload to the to ” Theme Preview ” ?

Will be happy to get answer. Roe

I could be wrong, but did you submit the preview files with the main package? If so you should package the preview files up into a single ZIP file (I usually call mine “screenshots.zip”) and then upload that. Also, the HTML/TXT files aren’t required if you don’t want to include those.

Dear Justin, Thanks for your reply :) I dont want to upload ” screenshots ” Like here: http://themeforest.net/theme_previews/6175269-dante-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme?url_name=dante-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme

If i will not upload the description by the HTML how the text will look like that : http://awesomescreenshot.com/06526lqmd4 ?

This look like a must to upload this information. You get my point ?

Remove the html and txt files from Theme Preview.zip. Rename theone-preview.jpg into 01_theone-preview.jpg. Provide only the 01_theone-preview.jpg and theone-big preview.jpg in the Theme Preview.zip file.

Copy the description and paste it into the item description field under the item > Edit, it accepts basic HTML markup as well. Remember to click ‘Save Changes’ and then resubmit.

Trying to understand, but are we talking about the item description now and not the screenshots? If so, adding HTML to the description uses special characters for some of the HTML (like lists, bold, etc.) So to create a list you would use an asterisk with a space after it for each item, like this:

* This is a list item
* This is a list item
* This is a list item

For bold text you can use asterisks on the outside of the text you want to bold, like this:

*bold text goes here*

There are many others but those are the ones I use most often. Anyone else have some to contribute?
