Soft rejected

My item has been soft rejected. The reason: Overall template typography needs additional refinements and improvements. It needs improvements in the styles it offers and general visual hierarchy. Light text on a light background causes poor contrast and results in uncomfortable to read text.

I like it. I think the map is not so eye catchy but hey it’s an interesting concept. Also the headings / paragraphs need more contrast as size is just not enough to lead.

Well, the “Stay Tuned! We are currently working on a awesome new site.” block is not equally distanced, as well as the green text line “Five coffees a day a bit of code and we will be online!”.

Same on page “A SHORT BIO”. Your typo must be conceptual and not chaotic.

Yes man, you need to work on those spacings… from your first page.. it’s just not polished good enough. Look at my items, they all have consistent spacing (heading + text block = good micro-spacing, then content body have same margin above and below and this is macro-spacing).

All these spacings are measured, I personally use a calculator for line-height and margin. I use no padding except for buttons or other graphics. Again, see on my items to learn the technique.
