Soft Rejection, what to do with the following feedback...

Hi Everyone,

my trifold brochure just got softrejected. No problem, i’ll work on it, but a 2,5 days wait to be reviewed and eventually feedback which exist of just one sentence is a bit of harsh: “You have an interesting concept here although you need to work a lot more on the style, typography, design of the graphics”.

Ok…. nice… Interesting concept but work more on style, bla, bla… I wrote a comment to the reviewer before submitting this trifold was based on another item i designed, a Keynote template: http://graphicriver.net/item/keynote-redtriangle-theme/2632627 This template was accepted and is on the marketplace… same style, same typography, same graphic design… I understand a Trifold isnt a Keynote presentation, but i think its pretty much in the same direction.

I was wondering what you guys think Please let me know!

Reviwer’s aren’t on the same page with each other. They just lazy, unwilling to do what the average person isn’t willing to do. It’s quite pathetic to be honest with you.

Just wait another month or so and you’ll find a brochure that gets accepted that looks like your keynote presentation with different fonts, maybe a little bit of things changed. Aren’t you thankful??!?

Hehe ok, well, rejection is to keep us sharp but 1 sentence feedback on a design you worked on a long time is a bit cheap to be honest… I expected to be taken more serious… Probably im not the only one here when i read your reply i’m in doubt if i want to keep on submitting here atm…

Hmmm first thing that comes in to my mind is that maybeah your work looks more like the others…so maybeah changing the text font will make it look better…or try to change the text placement create some depth maybeah…. Well I hope you will get it approved

Thanks mihaimcm, like which item does it looks like then? Its just a trifold version of my keynote item… Textfont wont do good because it has to be in line with the keynote, (exactly the same design…). I hope its gets approved too, wonder if i resubmit the same design it gets approved, honesty i think ive got a chance

Oh, you must be talking about the copy and paste department. Continue on with more designs sir! LOL !

I’m a serious note, tri fold brochure looks really nice, I don’t see what they are talking about with the typography… i mean who the hell doesn’t use their own brandings font? The font gets changed 100% of the time because who the hell wants to read lorum greek font? LOL !!! It’s ridiculous man!

i neither don’t understand the issue here, i didnt get the reviewers name, the rejection is anonymous… Damn, I’m a bit fed up the whole review feedback… I dont care about rejection, but i think good feedback is the least they could give us. Probably they’re overloaded with designs…

OMG , the item is approved within 5 mins from submitting. It are the SAME files which got rejected yesterday! Cmon, i’m happy its approved but this kind of rejections aren’t fair…
