Someone ripped one of my sites

Was perusing through my server logs and noticed someone hot linking some of my files, so I click through and find they’ve ripped one of my sites completely:

Company in question – http://www.engenhocom.com.br/, I’ve sent them a cease and desist, I can only hope they comply.

I was going to release this site as a WP theme in about a week.

Send the owner of the site an email and let them know, that may yield better results.

I agree with Chad (shadow). Contact the people who paid the ripper for the website. They should be very interested in the matter (and should be trying to get their money back).

Yep sent the restaurant one as well, I also did a little research and sent the hosting provider an email, so I’m hoping one of them will reply back.

lol that’s a positive way of looking at it, I guess ripping in this case is a good form of flattery, but it still sucks in a way.

Both the restaurant and the “company” are from brazil, if you need some help with communication I can help.

I like my country, but you find ridiculous professionals everywhere here.

I almost wish they had hot linked all the graphics, would have been fun to bombard them with animated gif flashing annoyances lol

I haven’t heard back from either the restaurant, the ripper or the hosting company, unfortunately. I guess there’s not much I can do.

What idiots! Not only does it actually say: <!- saved from url=(0025)http://daveandtara08.com/ -> At the top of the source but also they’re using your SWF file ( http://daveandtara08.com/media/xspf_player_slim.swf ), for the music player. If you felt like it, you could just embed some naughty code in there… I don’t know ActionScript so can’t help you out but there might be something you can do!
