Spam on previews contact forms

Hi. I’ve been receiving spam emails from my previews contact pages. Is not crazy, just a few per day, but it’s disturbing anyway. I’m thinking about removing the phps, but sometimes i’ve got some doubts from real customers from there (guess the ones that finds the preview from a direct link and not from here). Do you have active your preview forms? Any advice for this?

Why don’t use email like “mail@example.com”?

I wouldn’t care, you can add notice that customers shouldn’t send pre-sale or others questions trough contact form in your theme.

you could not send the email mail(), and return true as it would have been sent (just for preview)

I just put mail@domain.com. I used to put my own email in my flash templates, and I still receive emails on a regular basis from people who bought the template and never realized they had to change the email

Thanks guys. Setting up a fake email is like disabled the form, and as i said i get some real emails from there. But they are really just a few, so i think i’ll do that. The problem is that they are not using the PHP, but filling up the form directly on preview page (WTF!).

Sometimes i can’t understand spamming. Just me get all emails with urls, is not like they are spreading them on a large community. Which is the possibility that i click on a “make your penis larger” link? Oh, uhmmm… wait…

if you’re worried about missing customer contact why not set up a spam email with a auto responder saying the proper way to contact you?
