Starting my first psd

Hi I thought starting with a PSD would be the next best route to go. Any advice or links would be grand.

Ok just drafted out a quick first sketch for the front page.

And I’m using the 960gs psd template. Will post a few screenshots to follow.

What do you think? Be as harsh as possible.

Note: All images were generated by me (apart from the three same ones at the bottom) If you guys think this has a possibility of getting accepting I will carry out with this on Sunday.

I would like to see it in high resolution , are u using a grid system? at first appearance I think it has a weird alinement .

Thanks for your reply, I may post a higher resolution tomorrow. I’m using the 960gs but to be honest I was a little confused with the three column layout. The footer at the bottom which contains the world map is definitely wrong as I used four columns instead of three.

Thanks for the feedback people. I think I’m just going to try and submit it and if I get a rejection I’ll post back. I think I’ve got enough ideas and such to go on so I’m quite confident.

I’m wondering if it is because I only submitted one page as I just wanted to know if it stood a chance and wrote a message to the reviewer. Anyway, I’m going to try adding more pages and try again.

A quick update I’ve changed the menu to look more like a bootstrap menu because I eventually want to make a bootstrap theme.

Will add a few more ideas today for blog and portfolio and timeline.
