Hi, I am sorry, but the format/style of csv statements is completely unusable in practice. Can the devs please do something about it? I believe it’s pretty obvious what’s wrong with them. If not, I can explain everything and suggest better format/style if there is a will to do such a remake from the devs side. I used to trade futures and I would like to make so-called trader’s diary (in excel) for my theme forest activities too. I tried to to use your csv statements, but I ended up with rewriting every single value by hand into the format I would like it to be…

I must admit i’ve not enough sales to use it yet, but could you post up column headings of what you’d like it to be?

tried it there and can see you’d have to do a bit of work to cleanse it into workable raw data.

maybe if we all make suggestions, some mods can be made

I don’t want to make any suggestions yet, because I am not sure if those csv statements aren’t affect by some core functions of theme forest and if yes, it could be hard to remake it so best thing would be if devs/mods see this thread, could you post some insight on this?

if you can’t make suggestions as to what format you’d like it to be then how do you expect anything to change.

CLIENT : “re-design my website”

DESIGNER : “can you provide me with some re-design suggestions”

CLIENT : “no, just re-design it”

DESIGNER : “there you go”

CLIENT : “that’s nothing like what i wanted”

lol, I don’t like flames like this, but ok…

ME : “Can you re-design statements?”

DEV : “No, because it bounds to some core functions of Theme Forest and it’s impossible to do such a change at the moment.”

ME: “Ok, thanks”

- – - OR – - -

ME: “Can you re-design statements?”

DEV : “Sure, it’s possible. How would you like it to look?”

ME: “I would like it to look like this, this and this…”

Hope you got my point. I would need to sit for at least an hour to make a precise suggestion and I don’t want to spend my time on this just to find out that dev’s won’t do such a re-make… I hope you can understand this.

I personally think it may be more beneficial if the price and rate were split into their own columns and removed from the details column. But outside of that, I cant see anything really blaring wrong with this.

The date is also in some weird format and I don’t know how to make it work as a date, I tried, but without success…

The CSV ’s format isn’t an overcomeable issue here.. what bugs me more is that all the statements are split over seperate files. I’d love a file that gives me the statement from my first sale at ActiveDen until now, like it used to be ;)
