In my last topic i requested a click test so i can test my statistics page (url shortner). Thanx to everybody that clicked .
Now i am working on the user back-end to view the link stats, i currently have raw data, see link below for screenshots.
Is it wise to add charts as well or is raw data enough??
I think that nowadays people expect that statistics are also displayed as charts. Visual feedback is just so much easier to understand for some people. I personally use Statcounter.com for a few websites I run and I really like the simple bar chart they offer for showing off the statistics very quickly. Take a look at this image:
It’s really simple but I like it and so does many others.
what about time on page ?
graphs are really needed for this kind of app.
looks good mate
Fushion charts uses xml to pass data to the flash graph, but i don’t mind using jQuery.
Yes, you seen it correct, why?
so your looking for flash, or jquery ok ?
did i see referring URL ?
flash: http://www.amcharts.com/jquery: http://www.jqplot.com/tests/
I see amcharts offers charts for flex, thats great. After finishing the back-end i will be starting with the desktop tool, using flex to develop it .
Thanx for the tips.
