Hi,

I need help get Beautiful & Low-cost & Legal photo in my theme demo preview.

So, If I use Standard License:

Fotolio.com – max width: 680 pixels in web usage. iStockPhoto.com – max width: 800 pixels in web usage. BigStockPhoto.com – max width: 800 pixels in web usage. Dreamstime.com – max width: 800 pixels in web usage.

But Dreamstime.com says :)

Royalty-Free License : “For Web use, you must not use the image at a width exceeding 800 pixels unless it is included in your site’s design. If the image is part of a design and manipulated accordingly, the image width can be higher than 800 pixels.”

And I use image in Slider. Slider image is part of design for my!

But it’s legal?

Thanks! Madza

I think that as long as you dont include the image in your download file you should be fine to include display it in your live demo…

What they’re worried about is someone putting a raw 2048×1536 image in a lightbox where anyone can just right click and save as. So if you do use an image without manipulating it (cropping, overlaying text, changing colors, etc), make sure it is less than 800px wide.
