I vote you reply to them saying:
“The overall quality of your work does not meet our current minimum aesthetic and technical requirements”
or
“Try to make your work more unique”
and finally
please consider taking some time to familiarize yourself with Themeforest’s current library and quality levels of popular items before reapplying for the job

That is a good point Doru BUT in fairness if that was the case then it would mean that a selection of the top authors including PeerPong, Orman Clark, and Jonathan 01 amongst others would all be allover the world using the same developer to build their themes.
I guess we do not know but seems unlikely. Either way we will not be employing them and it livened the day up if nothing else. Thanks

I have met several ‘developers’ who claimed the TF themes, and when pointed they tried to bluff with “i don’t know what themeforest is. herp derp.” Laaaaaaaaaame.

Just to confirm – all our themes are designed by me (Jonathan) and coded by my wife (Barb) – just incase anyone was wondering
But this is funny stuffs – seen and heard of it before also. Interviewed many people in my last job and looked at their portfolios FULL of stock stuff – idiots.
