We could all share the sites we are adding to our black lists so that anyone using this method has a thorough list. But this would have to be done securely and not publicly on these forums.

I find it’s good to do things like this 1 week after an item has been released. This way anybody who has made a copy of the item won’t notice it straight away, only later on in which case it would be too hard to fix / more annoying / already spread around everywhere.

Also handy for css background images in your theme previews. If you hardcode the full URL to the image in your css preview, people who save-as a copy of the preview will still link back to your original site. They wont notice straight away but once you put in the redirect all their css images will go borko.

+1 – Great idea. To be honest, anything which makes their lives harder is a big plus.
