Guys, there are costs when converting between currencies, you can’t really expect to receive the same money. At least not if you’re withdrawing in your local currency.

You are right but in my case the currency conversion fee is charged after crediting transfer which is included in $136, my bank said they received $136 from skrill, currency conversion fee 1.5% and FED is applied on $136 which was deducted from my account.

after all which bank charged you $36 on $172 as currency conversion fee?

Use payoneer. After you understand their fees everything will be clear and no hidden stuff. They got local transfers as well!

+1 for payoneer! Also the global transfer is cheap and fast (personal experience)! Forget about PayPal, Moneybookers, etc. Use Payoneer instead! Highly recommended!

I would love to use payoneer for my freelance work, but they don’t accept Euro. Big fail, imo.

i think someone or envato itself should make a page where for each country is explained which fees are applied with each provider (paypal, moneybookers, payooner, swift etc.) because we need to know which is the most economic way to withdrawl our earnings… Until today i mostly used paypal and had no problems, i tried swift 3 times and 3 times i got extra fees, and from january i will try payooner
I couldn’t agree more. last week I tried to withdraw for the first time and I’m still trying to figure out how to proceed.

Paypal is the best option for Brazil at this time, the only thing to blame is their really low conversion rates. All the problems I had with them, was solved with a 2 minutes phone call on their local call center :)

Using MB(Skrill) for years, they only charge me $3 per withdraw.
My bank takes $10 constant too for any transaction. So i am constant at $13 per transaction whether it was $500 or $5000
