Hopefully, there is someone that can help my out with this issue. I purchased the Stormerce theme for a client of mine that sells luxury designer handbags, and it has to utilize the cart66 plugin. Unfortunately, the theme has not been updated for sometime, and apparently the new updates from cart66 causes problems to the storemerce theme. For my case, when I add an item to the cart, the ajax spinning wheel keeps on spinning, so the item doesn’t get added at all! I contacted cart66 support and they mentioned that there are some javascript issues to that theme, and they attempted several times to contact the author to update the theme, so it will comply to cart66 upgrades.

I would like to keep the theme, but if I can’t get this resolved, then I have to purchase a new theme that complies with the cart66 updates, and I may have to go to cart66 and purchase their themes, but before I do that, I would like to see if someone from this forum can help me out.

I would greatly appreciate it, David G

Hi David

I am in the same situation as you, I have 4 websites running on storemerce with cart66. due to not being supported getting Fatal error: Class ‘Cart66Common’ not found in /home/beauty/public_html/wp-content/themes/storemerce/functions/functions.php on line 1979

One site down – 3 to go!

Have you had any feedback yet?

Regards Nick Banduch

Yes, apparently the author of that particular theme does not update it anymore, and according to the support stuff of cart66 says, Storemerce is full of code errors, so they recommend to find another theme that supports cart66 updates. I found this Boutique. Good luck!

I’m having the same issue on a client site.

I’ve updated WP (1.5.3) and all plugins including Cart66 Lite to the latest version (1.5.1.8), but the issue persists.

I’m getting the following Javascript error in WIPC66.js when clicking the ‘Add To Cart’ button:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'search' of undefined

Has anyone found a solution here?
