Hi everyone I received a file called – .stp
It’s a 3d drawing I need for a job I’m doing but I don’t know what stp is and the dude is saying it’s a #D drawing
I usually work with 3dsmax file formats
Anyone know what .stp is and if I can use this with 3dsmax?

*.stp is a STEP 3D CAD file, supported by various CAD application e.g. CATIA
perhabs you can convert it with FreeCad, which supports stp files, into a readable format for 3ds max download FreeCad: http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/free-cad/
