Hello guys,

did you noticed something strange in Analytics data for the last 2 days?

Yesterday was actually quite good, but today it’s weird. No sales, no comments, no support mails and when I check Analytics – BOOM . Pageviews of all my themes droped like magic.

Theme A : 1000+ views yesterday : 18 total views today

Theme B : 690+ views yesterday : 3 total views today

Theme C : 380+ views yesterday : 4 total views today

New theme released 15 days ago

New theme released 9 days ago

Older themes – same thing

Is it just me or there is something really wrong? It is really weird – no sales, no comments, not a single support mail!

P.S.: another strange problem that never happened before – the FireBug console trows errors whenever I open ANY TF page today:

"NetworkError: 403 Forbidden - http://envato.s3.amazonaws.com/widget/widget.css"

widget.css

"NetworkError: 403 Forbidden - http://envato.s3.amazonaws.com/widget/widget.js"

widget.js

"NetworkError: 403 Forbidden - http://envato.s3.amazonaws.com/widget/widget.js"

I think there’s something wrong with analytics data. My analytics show the same tendency, but additionally one of my themes shows 0 views on 1st Nov and no views at all in October. I will compare this data to my server logs and we will know for sure.

I wouldn’t care if it’s only the analytics data, but as I said – no sales, no comments, no support mails – Nothing! And the last few days were pretty strong in terms of sales and support inquiries. It’s just like N-bomb exploded – everything gone in a second.

Maybe it’s just a coincidence… Check out your demo server logs to know for sure.

Alright, sorry for confusion, the theme that showed no views in October was the one that had its name changed, that’s why there were no hits. I’ve checked the server analytics and so far I can’t know for sure as analytics reports may take up to 24 hours to be generated. The thing is that I had almost no sales since the beginning of the month but today and yesterday were pretty good. That’s why I thought that it must have been something wrong with Envato analytics. We’ll see what my server analytics show tomorrow.

Anyone else care to share their Envato analytics data?

I just looked at a handful of my items stats and can confirm that there is a HUGE drop off from the 6th – sales have been consistent tho so it may be something wrong with the analytics tool – either way something doesn’t look right it’s currently looks like facebook’s share price :)
