Hello,

Can anybody shed light on this bland soft rejection explanation:

“Strangulation marks”

That’s all it said! 2 words?

I searched the forums and nobody else has posted about this. Also I have been in the creative industry here in the UK for over ten years and never came across this term. I can only guess it falls under the same family as bleed, creep, trim and slug etc.

Help!

and here is my reviewer feedback in full:

“Unfortunately your submission General InDesign Poster Pack isn’t quite ready for GraphicRiver.

Additionally, we have some extra feedback for you:

Definitely! I am actually quite annoyed that I had to wait two weeks for the piece of cryptic advice.

Wait 2 weeks for two words…

I’m pretty sure it’s a mistake. I’ll get one of the reviewers to take a look at the file for you :)

Just for reference for all who replied to my post.

The reason for the soft rejection was that my artwork didn’t extend to the 3mm bleed, instead it was half a mil short. I am guessing this was down to ‘lost in translation’ ;)

p.s. Thanks again Loungekat
