Studio Zen - fullwidth transparent page slider gallery help wanted...?

Dear all. I am having a great deal of trouble with the slideshow gallery in the Studio Zen theme. How do I post a gallery with slides and thumbnails in the bottom? I have read the manual 718 times, but I still can’t manage to get it to work. I have figured out how to set the full sized pageup, but I need to do the same within a “normal” frame?

This is what I do:

1. Create new site 2. insert gallery 3. Choose “fullwidth transparent page” 4. press save all 5. publish
