I’m not asking if you can but if you should. Not talking about censoring anything, I don’t like censoring as well. It’s really not about what you can but what you want.
I’ve met a huge number of girls feeling like they are inferior to men, having their self-esteem low, weakening them to the point where they get beaten by their husbands and they even don’t want to turn them in to the police because they really think that it’s okay to get beaten by the superior people.
That is the terrible consequence of past society organisation and sexism is the aftershock. Putting all those nude girls is only aiding the sexism, keeps men feeling they are superior, it’s like all those flyers are designed only for men (and lesbians). Censoring it? No. Realizing it’s bad? YES .

I do not feel offended when designers use woman bodies photos in their work. Instead, I feel proud, because women are beautiful.
They are not naked to be beautiful but to get mens penis up lol (sad but true, the difference between sexism and modeling)
This has gone extreamly off topic, I’ll try and save it.
I don’t like seeing thousands of social icons, only a few are ever going to be used.
as always, the main thing is to do what the Majority of buyers want, not just one, nor what a few outspoken others want… that’s why surveys are useful—maybe include that as a question in a survey, like:
a) Are you uptight and don’t like seeing pretty women in themes?
b) Do you like seeing fashion models and believe they add to the site?
c) Do you not care and want to get a pizza instead of reading this offtopic forum thread? (lol)
d) none of the above – I’m outta here.
just sayin. make mine pepperoni with cheese, please.
Pretty is ok. Models are ok. Nude isn’t.
Since when has Theme Forest, or any Envato Marketplace allowed nude models? I honestly don’t get what the big deal is. :/

Me too. This is marketplace like any other and marketing strategies are the same everywhere. And theme about “misusing” of women in commercials is different topic totally.
BenSheppard I agree, I don’t like to see lot of icons in themes too and not just social icons. I would always prefer image instead of icon wherever it is possible.
AGSoft saidYup, theres no big deal here. Also, i’ve used pictures of half-naked men on my flyers and magazine covers, but nobody’s been complaining. Do those pictures “degrade men” ? Or are they ok because “men are beautiful” ? Everyone thinks different on the same subject, imposing one strict view on all the others is simply not fair.

If you dont like a theme because you dont like how its marketed: dont buy it. Simple as that. Speak with your money, this is a MARKETplace with fair rules where full nudity/porn is already banned, this is not a place for social engineering of any kind.
Oh and btw: the half-naked women and men that you sometime see in flyers/themes are models who are getting paid for their work. If people stop using their pictures, it hurts them more than any supposed “hurt” their pictures might do to others in this MARKETplace.
