Stupid Drivers

So I’m learning to drive at the moment and im pretty much there with everything just a few problems with adjusting to parked cars on roads.

But today my confidence driving was totally crushed when this absolute idiot decided to do one of the most stupid things I’ve even seen.

It was a main road and I was going about 35mph and there were about 5 cars behind me. He pulls up to the junction, looks only once way and doesn’t even indicate. About 20 metres away from him I was getting past a parked car which was opposite from him on the main road. He pulls out suddenly and I literally had to emergency stop so we wouldn’t collide, we managed to avoid each other since he swerved onto the pavement. Absolutely unbelievable. Anyway my instructor beeped him and that was that.

Whats the worst piece of driving you have ever seen?

I once found myself driving the wrong way on cable car tracks in San Francisco so I suppose I could be considered one of the stupid drivers. On behalf of all stupid drivers around the world, my apologies.

I would say that you were unaware rather than stupid.

In my first year of driving i got around 5 fines for speeding. Now i`m a pro i get much more .
Joking i calmed down.

Speed limits are ridiculous here. I live on a very curvy road but the speed limit is 55. The speed limit on the very straight interstate? 75. If the speed limit on a curvy road (which has signs that say watch for children) is 55, shouldn’t the speed limit on an interstate with no risk of people walking on it be much higher?

When you drive a motorcycle it’s safest to assume every car contains the stupidest driver on the road and that you’re completely invisible. Can’t count the number of times a car has just drifted into my lane or across it without any semblance of recognizing I was there (until I speed away to avoid getting broadsided).

Ahhh Rome The sweet memories of insane driving situations are still some of my favourite stories I use to terrify people who plan visiting the eternal city. But seriously, driving in Rome was insane but once you figure it out it actualy works great. It is just not for the faint-hearted

You’ll get used to it, you need to have eyes aroung your head while driving, I have driving license almost 9 years ~200.000 km on polish roads so I’ve seen a lot of stupid driving, and probably I was stupid driver couple of times

The best advice I can give you is trust no one.

When I first got my license my Dad purchased an old car and fixed it up for me. Then within a month I smashed it into my neighbor
