Yeah, i also got these where’s my license certificate? issues now.. Clients are not finding things well with the new Downloads button. This is really really bad! And i’ve even got the stylesheet missing question :D
In the mean time, here’s some directions I put together last week. :D http://cl.ly/image/0H3x06001f1T

Sorry that this took so long, but we’ve just rolled out some changes here:

  • “License Certificate” is now “License certificate & purchase code” (thanks pixel entity)
  • The main download link still defaults to “Main File(s)”
  • For CodeCanyon, ThemeForest and ActiveDen, “Main File(s)” is now “All files & documentation”
  • For WordPress themes, we still have the additional “Installable WordPress file”
  • For PhotoDune we already replaced “Main File(s)” with “Medium” etc

If there are other sites or major categories where “All files & documentation” makes more sense than the default “Main File(s)”, please let me know!

Thanks for your patience on this one!

If the buyer’s download page is huge list of TF and CC items, currently it looks like occupied with too much of big buttons. Removing unnecessary buttons would maintain deserved clarity:

I’ve heard and registered your thoughts on this multiple times VF, and I don’t disagree, it’s just no where the biggest pain point to address right now :)

I would also suggest adding something like this directly to your theme:

and make it link to an online hosted documentation.

Really good! Do you have that item just link to an new window where the documentation is hosted? Or do you have it inside WordPress ?

Just pointed that many times because the drop down option (instead of permanent links) sounded like we are working hard with limited space due to space occupied by referral buttons. Sorry for my redundancy though. :)

2 TF staff and authors! I do appreciate that you are trying to improve the system but there is a new problem occurred. I’m getting a lot of complaints that there is no documentation, sliders etc inside the zip file they download from themeforest. The problem is that they download the installable zip file and do not pay attention to the main zip file where the documentation and other stuff is located. In result we get the low rating and bad comments.

Suggestion: maybe you would add some kind of tooltip explaining what it is inside of the main and installable packs.
Thanks in advance.
