It’s just the rules. You sell your work here, you have to accept the rules how they are defined. It can be fair for some, unfair for others, but they are the rules. Envato has probably defined these rules depending on different factors and good reasons.

Envato is also a business, not a charity. So they need to make sure things are also fair for them. Also don’t forget that Envato offers different ways to withdraw money (Paypal, bank etc etc).

They need to make sure they have enough funds on each account to make the payments. And note that the sums in question are not only 1000$, but could 100 time more or most probably even much more… Transferring big amounts takes time, verification process etc etc.

That delay is probably there for very good reasons.
