suggestions about my component !

i just submitted my component. i want to take suggestions from you all. how it is ? what should be added more and what should be changed ?

ohh i forgot to tell u about my component name. it is Widgetor that lets u create the widgets for your websites.

So Sad , i just read the email from james. They rejected my component by saying

• Does not appeal to our customers. Try making something buyers can implement in their own projects… Perhaps you could adapt this to a PHP class that developers can re-use in multiple projects.

how i can meet the quality requirements ?

Well right now the script only works with the options that are currently set. James is saying that if you turned this into something that is abstract and can be reused multiple times, it would seem more suitable for customers.

can u give me some suggestion about how i can make it abstract ?

this can be converted to any kind of widget. they just have to make a change in the file that query from database.

Here’s my suggestion: Lose the interface. The UI does nothing for the component because most buyers will want to have more control; you can give them this control by letting them interact with the functionality on a lower level. That’s why I suggested a PHP class. A buyer can download your script, include it in their project and have a widget in seconds.
