HI, just got my first product up, and was wondering after seeing someone make 100 sales within a few months, what things could l do to improve my chances of great sales in the near future?

Should l regularly post here, or should l just churn out as many quality products that people want the most as possible, and all my products appearing together will do the trick?

I don’t want to spend months doing products for Graphicriver and realize later on, l should have used paid advertising as well?

I have some experience in knowing how to pick what products people are buying the most of and trying to add something new to my offers, etc. But was just wondering about the mechanics of how people get there!

Thanks.

Shane .

PS, l just learned about making the review background gray, so the watermarks are minimized, or a light coloured background.

I would suggest posting your items regularly. I don’t know how is it on GraphicRiver, but while I’m regularly posting items here on CC, my sales are doubled. I haven’t posted anything in a month now and my sales are half of what they used to be.

It makes sense. Another great, even better way, is getting your item to “Popular items” list.

Thanks everyone, great advise, l was worried that it was similar to Fiverr; work hard for a couple months and hope sales pick up, aaarrrrgggg!

Another related question, in my first product l used colours to distinguish the graphic files, and used all capitals to make it easier to edit.

If l did the next one with no colours, and all text as capital, for the first letter only, for the PSD file, so it looks more professional or trendy, would that sway some Moderators to ok it quicker or make the price point higher????

You can also play around with Google Adwords. The key is to start slow and keep testing to find what works for your items. You don’t want a ton of people clicking the links without buying. Starting a blog is another way to get SEO and people to follow when you have new items.
