Hey, everyone. And remember – there are plenty of apps available around the web which will allow you to have as complicated a password as possible, without having to remember it!

I personally use 1Password for Mac, but there are a plethora of other programs for PC/Linux/Mac available. :)

I use 1password with mac, for windows I use roboform.

Cyan, are you suggesting that a member around here had been hacked before? Just wondering…changing my password now…

Mine is so safe, even I can’t remember it. Every time I must pick this: ” forgot your password “BUTTON. Really.

You better hope that your email password is safe then :D

My password is 24 characters long, d’you guys think that’s long enough? :P

I have one question about security- why doesn’t ThemeForest use https instead http? I’m asking this as I travel a lot and very often I have to use public networks. And as I am concerned about my profile security I don’t log in and sometimes I am not able to reply people’s comments for days.

Another important tip:

Dont use the same password as your email account(the one that you have enterd in your marketplace account)

Why? well if a person hacks into your marketplace account it can see this emailaccount and theres a change that he/she will hack it to. A lot of people always save there other accounts + passwords and important info in there mail, so then the hacker can access al your accounts.

This is all great advice, but it doesn’t stop the “remember me” issue on public pc’s.

What google does is pretty awesome. It has a little option that logs you out of any other machine you’ve been done and still remain logged in.
