All computers should have virus protection! I use Sophos on my MacBook Pro :)

I would beg to differ. I would say a great majority of viruses are paid to be created by anti-virus companies to get people using/buying their anti-virus software. :) If you’re smart, you simply use basic tools to locate and manually take care of viruses. That way you still protect yourself without funding the creation of more viruses.

If you’re smart you won’t go on shady websites to get the creepy crawlers :)

We have the Awake theme from here and am we are having the same Trogan issues. We’ve been using it for about 5 months before the trojan showed it’s face. We’ve disabled bits of it but trying hard to get the rest out. Some of it can be seen on our site http://www.nanjing-school.com see the activity log and you’ll see an attempt at accessing h++p://www”dot”nanjing-school.com/wp-includes/wordpress-admin-bar/themes/purple/jvscrpt.php . Our main issue we see are some users having Trojan issues with uploaded PDF files. We’re hoping down loading the latest version of the theme will fix the issue.

I’m having the same issue with a theme I purchased from here. Saphos doesn’t detect a virus, but my email host won’t send an email with the javascript files from the theme. Says it’s detecting Trojan.JS-75. How can I clean it up if I can’t find it on my computer. Is there a different virus detection software for Mac that’s better than Saphos?

I just purchased and downloaded the Cherish Wedding template and during the download, ESET Nod32 (my antivirus program) found a JS/Agent.NKW trojan. Is this a false positive? I’ve purchased and downloaded templates from other companies before but this is first for me with Envato. What is going on???
