Great job! One question: Is it possible to insert an empty div inside the iframe? i tried but no success. The reason why i ask this is that i want to add this plugin http://jamesflorentino.github.io/nanoScrollerJS/ ,to customize to scrollbar.
What am i doing wrong ? :) Hi there,well you could do it if the iframe is on the same domain but no point in messing with that, try something like this: http://manos.malihu.gr/jquery-custom-content-scroller/ You just apply it on iframe element.
Thank you for your reply.I tried your recommendation but again no success.After the js and css inclusion i’ve applied to the iframe element like so:
<script>
    (function($){
        $(window).load(function(){
            $(".product-iframe").mCustomScrollbar();
        });
    })(jQuery);
</script>

Ok my mistake, looks like you will have to modify iframe content in the end, since the scrollbar is on the iframe and not on it. You can do that if the iframe is on the same domain, check this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/364952/jquery-javascript-accessing-contents-of-an-iframe

This looks great! I really want to use it, but your demo is not working on my iOS devices. Any idea why this is happening?

Hi,

iDevices are known to have problems when iframe is used like this, so I disable it on all mobile devices (tablets too) (disable as in I redirect directly to product page without iframe), as posted here: http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/switcheroo-open-source-item-switcher/111182?page=3#message_content_907622

You can easily disable this (switcher is fully responsive so no problem on that part) by removing the snippet from js, but if you do, I would suggest thorough testing.

Thank you for your response! Hopefully, I’ll get everything up and running after the festive season. I’m really looking forward to using this!

I just discovered your switcher (very awesome) and tried to access your demo from my iPad. Instead of the frame being removed, it starts to load with the frame, the content starts to show – and them I’m kicked out of Safari altogether.

I also tried another site running your switcher, same exact problem. Starts to load, I see the frame, and bam – kicked out of Safari completely.

I’m running IOS 7.0.4, so maybe it’s something in this newest update??

I’d love to switch to this from another implementation, but this kicking out completely instead of removing the frame is a deal breaker for me.

Hi, thanks for reporting this issue. What version of the iPad do you have? Also, are you able to test in Chrome on the same device to check if the issue is happening the too.

Will investigate this.

Hello again OriginalEXE .Can you please tell me how can i target a specific theme inside the iframe in my themeforest themes ? I tried to put in the preview url like so:

http://myurlhere.com/iframe-folder/#item1

but themeforest gives a 404 error. If i manually paste this link in my browser is working.I think is the ”#” in front of the item name the problem.
The first targeted item is working ( the default one ) but not the rest.I can fix it by creating multiple folders for the iframe,but this is not what i want.Thanks again for creating this nice plugin.
