Are we allowed to use artists names in tags? Like for example using “Hans Zimmer” for a trailer theme that clearly reminds of his style. I remember that many clients asked me to search for a song like ”....”, mood like ”...” etc. Maybe it would help the research.

I don’t think so, I’m pretty sure mine were deleted. But I have in one of my descriptions ‘inspired by ‘name’’ or something like that. :)

It’s not allowed here, neither in tags, nor in description, not even in the thumbnail. Once I uploaded a thumbnail with Indiana Jones for an adventure theme and it didn’t pass. I’d say this “we respect others copyright” policy is exaggerated and excessive. Other sites even encourage artist to use popular artists names and have drop down menus for that, like “this track is influenced by” or “sounds like these mainstream artists” etc.
