You can search all over for cut and dry explanations/definitions, but you won’t find it. It is vague at best right now. Even after the 2.0 era started the “definitions” were still being formed. It will be about compatibility, portability, flexibility and functionality for the user, and harnessing the power of multiple emerging technologies for the programmers and designers of these online services/applications/websites.
