tell us your most sort-reject reasons

Hi everyone , that’s very happy to receive an email tell your item have been approve to sale but sometimes and mosts at begining we get sort-reject before begin to sale. it will be problem for your time plan for item to sale. so let tell us your reject issues then others can prevent it
I have some sort-rejects:

1. lack of document.
it mean the document was not provide enough details for users or it was hard to read. Reviewer will suggest you some template that you can use. I don’t remember this link so you could reference mine

2. did not pass W3C validator.
it mean your html was wrong somewhere to pass the w3c standare. you should check your site in this page : http://validator.w3.org/ .

3. wrong Theme Preview files.
the theme preview required jpg and not png file.
it also require to numbered your file like 01_preview , 02_home , 03_blog …ect

4. contains not full-right items.
it mean your theme file to sale (which buyer will download) contains some files that you dont’ have full rights like audio files , some images file for demo. you must remove all files , use place holder file or envato files (audio , banner …ect)

some other reasons I hear from envato forum are “php notice error” , “include external link of jquery lib” .

I think you’ve gotten the meaning of soft rejection wrong. Just because it needs improvements, it doesn’t mean it’s hard rejected.

If it needs significant improvements, it will be hard rejected.

I’ve recently been soft rejected based on visual hierarchy.
