It feels too empty, there is too much free space in your template. Also, the proportions aren’t too good. Just my opinion. Maybe if you tell exactly what was the rejection message…

Seems pretty dull; lacks a nice grid to which the elements to rapport to; ugly stock images; ugly spacing.
The number of features won’t save a weak design.

I think your major problem is in the design. I recently sent a theme and it was rejected twice, i know it is frustrating, work a lot of hours and get rejection, my theme also have a very good features, but like wickedpixel said:

I would say, team up with a designer.
No offense but some have it and some don’t.
Author with no design skills who succeed on themeforest usually go for minimal corporate theme with 100000+ options .. if you tried that already and failed, I’d say you have better chance coding someone else designs.

or you need to spend more time designing to improve ..
