Hey guys support or who ever reads this. I had a template rejected for using images that were of celebrities. I had permission from the person or persons that i can use the images as long as they are not sold with the template, so in my preview i can use them. So my template has been sitting in soft reject because of this, and on top of that i supplied the proof in my support ticket that has not been answered in 48 friggin hours. So maybe you guys can decide if i had permission or not to use the images in my preview. here is the link:

Kevin Codfert is a friend of mine and he is the keyboardist in Adagio a french progressive metal band. As you can see he gave me permission to use the images and i also did what he asked me for to add the photographer Perrine Perez Fuentes in the credits, which i did. So i have been waiting for 2 days now to get my template up to tf but by the looks of it no one is giving a care. BTW that was the only issue with my template no other fixes needed to be done. Just getting a bit frustrated not ranting or anything.

Cheers

Lester

First of all, congrats on the almost-approval :-)

I think they have huge load of tickets, as I have sent mine at least a week ago and haven’t been answered yet, although it was redirected to my reviewer.

I feel you, though. I would get crazy too if such a minor detail was keeping me back from selling here.

I hope this gets resolved as soon as possible Nikos

Thanks man, well i hope it is not gonna take them a week because that’s rubish. 48 hours is more than enough time. Think about it if i do not answer my clients emails for 2 days what the hell is he gonna say. The problem is that i had proof that i can use the images. If i did not then i would understand getting rejected.

Yeah, I think it won’t be as long for you. I sent a ticket a week ago and it was forwarded to the reviewer on Tuesday, I think. (Sends positive energy to resolve today)

PS: Hmmm… they’re picky about the images, huh? I’ll have to carefully pick the images I’ll use in my item.

Wel yeah you have to be picky with images but the thing is when you have permission and proof to back it up then it should be pretty damn straight forward, no?

Anyhow i am waiting to get some feedback back from them.

Well I thought this would be simple but i guess it is not. I got the template still rejected because of a model release form. This is what the message was from the reviewer.

Your item Adagio Musician Template – HTML5 – CSS3 isn’t quite ready for ThemeForest. This is the reason given by our item inspector: If you are including in your item the face or identifiable features of any person on video, photograph, or a traced illustration, you will need a signed model release from that person.

Maybe some one could shed some light on what i have to do. I did supply them with this facebook screenshot to prove that i had permission from the keyboard player and they are still asking me for more proof, i just do not understand.
