You might find a plugin that can help you do that but it is too bespoke and specialised for a marketplace like this.
Plus you would need extended licenses for a project like that so you may as well just hire a freelancer to build it. Good luck
Do you have any idea what plugins or the “term” i should search for? I could use an existing WooCommerce theme and add a plugin to it. As a start up, Im trying to save costs as much as possible.
Don’t quote me on it but I think that you could achieve it using Marketpress (premium plugin) along side Buddypress and/or Multisite.
You will have to activate Multisite for people to have their own individual stores not just one massive shop.
It is not horrifically complicated but of course depends on your technical knowledge.
You must realize that something like this has further implications around hosting, managing the membership etc and as it is I assume chargeable or ad enabled then if it is base don a theme from here you MUST have the extended license.
I appreciate its a start up but there are only so many corners that can be cut especially when it comes to peoples paying for stuff and if done properly would cost a lot to develop for a reason.
Thank you! You have minimised my costings by a lot, trust me. I will have to find a developer to integrate Marketplace + Multisite to turn it into something like storenvy.com . Won’t be as perfect as that but i guess it will do for now as I have no funds to create such a humongous website
Thats ok. We can put you in touch with someone who might be able to help you. I guess the way you need to look at it is that this is WAY cheaper than a bespoke build BUT that a freelancer fee to integrate it all properly is a LOT less than the potential disaster if something goes wrong.
