Template Soft Rejected..Please help

Hey friends,

Suggestions required, I am certainly getting confused now, previously I have uploaded the following HTML template http://spingle.net/LivePreview/RetroFolioOld/index.html but it got rejected.

Afterwards as per their advice, I have made some changes and added many other elements like the graphic and contents in about me section, added address and Google map in contact section. You guys can check the link below and can easily find out the enhancement made.

But unfortunately they find both the templates similar and were not able to identify any changes made to it. Here is their comment ” This is a resubmission of a previously rejected submission. Resubmitting without making the required changes or any improvements is not considered acceptable use of the Envato marketplaces and repeated attempts may result in a temporary or permanent suspension of authorship…..........”

Kindly suggest me how can I improve my template.

well, what exactly did they say in the previous email? you have to stick with all changes they pointed out, add comments to the reviewer with the changes you made.

yeah, your theme looks good but I could point some stuff:

- your hosting is kinda slow (at least for me) – it takes about 5 seconds to show the slider (after the page has loaded)

- right button of the slider is shifted about 2px to the left (sometimes)

-when you filter Portfolio it has some kinda of flickering (on Mac OS – Firefox)

-your portfolio image’s color changes with some kinda of easing , still the text shows up instantly

This is all I saw (I’m not a graphic designer)

Previously they suggested me to change the font color and typography and fix some inconsistent spacing. I fixed all these issues.

I have added color changing effect in portfolio section.

Great theme. Really like the style.

I agree with jayc on the portfolio items. The transition is a bit jumpy. Also agree with Ragzor, that scrollTo or scrollTop for the navigation would really help.

Looks like there’s a border or some line underneath the right nav arrow of the slider.

I like the font choice a lot, but I think the logo font clashes with it a bit.

The content boxes (web design, graphic design, etc.) – I would probably throw in a media query to make them 100% width on smaller devices.

Overall great template.

• Make the “top” ribbon on the right follow the page, fixed position (better usability)
• Use jQuery scrollTo plugin for smooth scrolling.

I think your template looks great, I don’t know how to make the typography or other desing better.
