Nice list. Does anyone know of a local host where you can change the php version? I sometimes find my wordpress themes have bugs in different versions which I can’t really test for.

Most webhosts have PHP4 and PHP5 installed, and you can use .htaccess to map the PHP extension to use PHP4 to test, and then back to PHP5 .

I’ve found that it’s best to stick with the built-in Wordpress functions when building templates, because if it works for Wordpress it will work for your theme.

I have started using http://spoon.net/browsers/ and it is the best browser testing solution i have found so far.

You install their spoon thing, which is needed for the broswers to run, then you just press the play button on that broswer and in a few minutes a IE6 window is open on your computer!

It blew my mind.
